CareersThe Opportunity You Desire If you're looking for the unparalleled opportunity to positively affect others in a challenging and rewarding environment, consider joining The Hawaii Group as a Financial Representative.Managing Director Thomas "Tom" Mc Tigue says Financial Representatives can join The Hawaii Group in three ways: through internships, where a third of the eligible students become full-time Financial Representatives upon graduation; as recent college graduates with an entrepreneurial spirit; and when seasoned professionals choose a new career. The Selection Process Interviews at The Hawaii Group follow this process:Round 1: After completing an online assessment, the candidate meets with a Director, Thomas "Tom" Mc Tigue (Full-Time) or Reid Matsushima (College), to provide initial information, allow them to learn more about the candidate, & review the assessments. The candidate and the Director determine their mutual interest in moving forward in the process. If both parties feel there is a mutual fit, an assignment is given to the candidateRound 2: The candidate meets with their Director to evaluate the assignment and further define the opportunity with Northwestern Mutual.Round 3: The candidate meets with Managing Director Thomas "Tom" Mc Tigue to explore a marketing plan and examine income potential.Round 4: The candidate meets with Tom to answer final questions and determine a future with Northwestern Mutual.Because the interview and selection process are thorough, explains Tom, new Financial Representatives "have a strong chance of success here because we've spent so much time with you.
